Along with their signature spa days and packages, the Spa at Ramside also offers a range of men’s treatments, which will help women to “soften up” their man before they pop the question.

Among the treatments available are the Men’s Reviver, which includes a double cleanse exfoliation, a face, neck and shoulder massage, a lifting and smoothing cooling mask, and a scalp massage.

Other packages include a Stress Buster package, which offers a back massage, and a facial and scalp massage, the Golfer’s Tonic package, which includes a foot soak and exfoliation, a foot and leg massage, a back exfoliation and a back massage with hot stones, the Made for Men package and the Heaven on Earth package.

For the woman who wants to go all out, there is The Man Up and Spa package, which includes a two course spa lunch in the venue’s Fusion restaurant, and a choice of a 60 minute, 90 minute or two hour men’s treatment.

It also offers full use of the spa’s state-of-the-art facilities, which include a hydrotherapy pool, five heat experiences, an outdoor vitality pool, and a 25m swimming pool.

Ramside Spa Offers Exclusive Valentine’s Packages

Couples looking to pamper themselves this Valentine’s Day can indulge in a special spa day at a leading North East venue…

The Spa at Ramside, Carrville, Durham, is offering a range of spa packages to help guests to celebrate the most romantic day of the year.

Ramside Spa Celebrates 12 Days Of Christmas With Festive Prizes

There may not be any maids a-milking or geese a-laying, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty on offer at one of the North East’s leading spas this Christmas…

The Spa at Ramside, Ramside Hall Hotel, County Durham – which opened earlier this year – will be running a special prize draw from December 12th until December 24th.

The 12 Days of Christmas, which started at the weekend, gives anyone who books a visit to the venue’s state-of-the-art spa the chance to enter the prize draw and win some special upgrades and added extras.

One name will be drawn each day, with the winner then selecting one of the 12 baubles behind the spa reception, each of which contains a unique prize.

“The festive season is all about giving a little bit extra, and that is what the 12 Days of Christmas prize draw is all about,” said Jill Russell, the spa director at Ramside Hall Hotel.

“The prizes that are up for grabs will make a great early Christmas present for some of our guests.

“There’s so much on offer at the spa this Christmas, and hopefully this will help to make our winners’ visits extra special.”

Throughout the festive season, the Spa at Ramside will also be running a selection of Christmas spa packages, designed to help visitors unwind during the festive season.

The Sleep and Beauty package and The Lady and The Vamp package includes use of the spa facilities until 5pm, a choice of treatments and a two course lunch in the Fusion Spa Restaurant.

Guests looking to use the spa facilities in the afternoon can opt for The Beauty and the Feast package, which includes use of the spa facilities for three hours, a choice of either a 45 minute personalised facial or a back, neck and shoulder massage and a spa afternoon tea.

There is also a number of packages available between Christmas and New Year, including the Twixmas Treat, the Winter Warmer, the Winter Wonderland and Rock that Resolution.

All the packages include a welcome smoothie on arrival, a choice of treatments, and complimentary use of robes and spa flip flops.

Ramside Spa Offers Relaxing Alternative To Boxing Day Dip

North East people who don’t want to brave the cold of the sea on Boxing Day are being offered a warmer alternative by the region’s top spa…

The award-winning Spa at Ramside, at Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham, has unveiled a special Boxing Day package which includes doing a very different kind of dipping.

Guests can book in for a special spa day which includes a welcome drink on arrival, full use of the spa facilities, and a choice of either a two course brunch or a spa Asian-inspired afternoon tea.

The package costs £65 per person, with an additional attraction for groups of between four and eight people – exclusive use of the balcony infinity pool for an hour.

Ramside Hall Unveil Final Stages Of Spa Development

The North East’s newest and most luxurious spa has now unveiled the final stages of the development…

 

The £8m Spa at Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham opened in August, but has this week launched two further features.

An outdoor Spa Garden and vitality pool, along with a first floor infinity pool, are now being used by guests, extending the wide range of facilities already available at the spa.

The vitality pool can be enjoyed by guests on spa day and spa stay experiences and by members, with the infinity pool available at an additional cost for special occasions or for small groups.

The new additions complement the existing spa facilities, which include a 25m long swimming pool, one of the country’s largest hydrotherapy pools, a thermal suite, sleep sanctuary, 14 treatment rooms, state-of-the-art gym, hairdressers and Asian Fusion restaurant.

The opening of the new pools comes shortly after the spa was awarded a five bubble rating by the Good Spa Guide, winning the top accolade despite only being open for a short period of time.

Since its launch, the spa has become a major attraction and has exceeded its initial expectations for membership, with the hope that the festive season and the additional attractions will see a further boost.

Luxury Ramside Spa Awarded Five Bubble Rating

A luxury North East spa is raising a glass in celebration, having been given a five bubble rating, despite only being open for a few months…

The multi-million pound Spa at Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham opened in August, with its facilities just receiving a massive thumbs up from The Good Spa Guide.

The Guide is regarded as the leading authority in the UK and only recognises and rewards spas which meet its strict criteria.

Following a recent inspection visit, the spa was told the good news – that it has achieved the highest possible rating.

“We’re delighted to have been told by the Good Spa Guide that we’ve achieved five bubbles,” said Jill Russell, Spa Director.

“It’s very unusual for a spa which has just opened to have achieved this so soon, so it’s a great endorsement for the fantastic facilities we have here.”

 

The Good Spa Guide said that it loved “the sense of peace and relaxation that pervades The Spa at Ramside, and the amount of natural light that spills into the space.”

The report also praises “the huge spa with plenty of loungers. We also liked the idea of having one area for spa guests only; health club members tend to be in a hurry, while spa-goers need to slow down and chill out.

“The upstairs treatment area is very quiet and restful, and the sleep sanctuary is perfect for chilling out post-treatment.”

Awarding the Spa at Ramside a five bubble rating, the Guide praises it for “its light and airy design, extra-large main pool and hydrotherapy pool, excellent spa restaurant, carefully designed treatment rooms and restful sleep sanctuary.”

It also praised the spa for its “good treatments and good value spa days and packages.”
